Age Restrictions – Courses are generally suitable for anyone of any age. If the student is under the age of 18 they should, because of safety reasons be accompanied to lectures by an adult. The adult attends at no charge however would not receive lecture notes or a certificate.
Code of Conduct – There are certain standards relating to behaviour and conduct at lectures. The MEDICAL REGISTER of AUSTRALIA reserves the right to caution or to sanction those students not meeting appropriate standards.
Attendance – As there are no exams at our courses you full attendance at least 80% of lecture is essential for the granting of your certificate. You should always ensure that your bar code tag is correctly swiped at the terminal when attending each lecture.
Payment of fees – Fees should be paid within the prescribed time frames. Late payment may result in access being denied and our automated computer system being unable to generate your certificate in readiness for graduation.
Discounts offered – May only be used with receipt of payment of fees in full and in the timeframe stipulated. Discounts are not applicable to students with progressive payment arrangements.
Transfers or Waiting List – If you are not able to complete your scheduled course because of illness or other personal reasons you may transfer to a later course. If you have enrolled in a course and find that you cannot start that course you can be placed on a waiting list for a future run of the same course.
Withdrawal – As notes have been prepared and a place set aside for you, we do not provide refunds if you withdraw from a course.
Feedback – We aim to provide excellent client service. We would like you to let us know your thoughts on the course to enable us to continue to provide a high level of student satisfaction. To let us know you should email us at feedback@medicalregister.com.au
Cancellations – It is very rare for lectures to be cancelled or deferred. However, in the unlikely event of lecture theatres or lecturers becoming unavailable, we reserve the right to defer or to cancel courses. Full refunds or transfers are arranged for students in this instance. |
